Senior Manager/Associate Director - Finance

## About the Role As Senior Manager/Associate Director of Finance at Instawork India, you will own and oversee the finance/accounting team for Instawork India (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US company), plus own US Accounts Receivable including managing AR collections analysts. Reports to the U.S. Controller, works closely with the Country Head of Instawork India. ## Key Responsibilities - Lead and own U.S. Accounts Receivable for the company - End-to-end accounting, payroll, bookkeeping for the Indian entity - Calculation and remittance of monthly statutory payments (TDS, PF, ESI, PT) - Preparation of financial statements and monthly MIS reports - Coordination with statutory auditors, banks, government agencies - GST and Income tax return preparation and filing - Compliance: Financial Audit, RBI, STPI, MCA, and other regulatory filings - Supervise India finance team (2 personnel) and AR collections analysts (3 personnel) ## Required Skills & Qualifications - CA with 7-10 years of experience, strong knowledge of Indian Accounting - Knowledge of US GAAP; Big 4 experience a plus - NetSuite experience desirable - Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets - Ability to work some US Pacific time zone hours ## How to Prepare for This Role ### Core Technical Topics to Master Indian Accounting Standards + US GAAP differences, RBI/STPI/MCA compliance frameworks, NetSuite or similar ERP systems, statutory payroll compliance (PF/ESI/TDS/PT). ### Interview Preparation Common questions: how do you reconcile Indian GAAP with US GAAP reporting requirements, walk through your experience with RBI/MCA filings, how have you managed a distributed finance team across time zones. ## How to Apply Apply directly via the official Greenhouse posting. ## Official Links & Resources - Official Job Posting / Apply: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/instawork/jobs/4665986006 - Company: Instawork
