## About the Role Instawork is transitioning from an app-based marketplace to an agent-first ecosystem. As leader of the India Product Operations team, you architect this transition — defining technical infrastructure for autonomous marketplace operation, hands-on with Python/TypeScript and LLM APIs. ## Key Responsibilities - Define the roadmap from manual workflows to intent-driven delegation ("Agentic Layer") - Lead a "Strike Team" prototyping high-stakes automations, hands-on with Python/TypeScript, Cursor/Replit - Implement Reasoning-as-a-Service, distinguishing where LLMs (GPT/Claude/Gemini) vs deterministic logic are needed - Build automated systems for liquidity balancing and real-time negotiation - Develop telemetry to debug an agentic world (prompt vs data vs logic failures) ## Required Skills & Qualifications - 10+ years in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or Engineering Leadership (4+ years in leadership) - Expert-level Python or TypeScript; experience with AI-native dev environments and LLM APIs - Proven track record in high-frequency marketplaces (ride-sharing, food delivery, freelance platforms) - Must demonstrate (GitHub/portfolio) actual agents/autonomous workflows built — not "GPT wrappers" ## How to Prepare for This Role ### Core Technical Topics to Master LLM API integration patterns, agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain/AutoGPT-style), marketplace real-time matching systems, Python/TypeScript automation scripting, vector database querying. ### Interview Preparation Be ready to demonstrate a real autonomous agent or workflow you've built via GitHub — this employer explicitly screens out "GPT wrapper" level work.
